The C10FSH has Soft Start Technology that allows for less noise and recoil at the initial start-up. This is due to the poly-V-belt transmission used by the saw instead of the traditional gear transmission.

This saw also has thumb actuated positive miter stops for easy adjustments. This feature allows the user to adjust the miter degrees at the most common angles quickly and with full ease.

The bevel capacities of this Hitachi saw are 0 and 45 degrees to both the left and right. The miter angle capacity is 57 degrees to the right and 45 degrees to the left.
